Is your home in a high fire risk zone?
Click here to go to the Cal Fire website. Enter your address as prompted and you will see whether your home is in an elevated risk zone.
The best way to help your home survive a wildfire is to establish a 5’ perimeter safety ring around your home that resists embers. This area is called Zone 0 (Zone Zero).

Free private risk assessments
The Ventura Fire Safe Council is offering free home wildfire risk assessments. A staff member will come to your home to prepare a report with wildfire safety recommendations. They only look at the exterior - the roof, vents, patio and yard; anywhere embers may have easy access. The report is private and for your information only.
